Alpha Electric Company History
Alpha Electric was founded in 1994 by longtime colleagues Jimmie Stallones and Bo Parrish, whose decades of combined experience shaped the company’s commitment to quality, reliability, and strong client relationships. Together with Nathan Keel, all three project managers brought more than 20 years of expertise in the electrical industry, using advanced tools and technology to deliver accurate bids, adaptable scopes of work, and dependable service for hospitals, businesses, and residents throughout the Houston area.
Today, Alpha Electric operates from an 8,000-square-foot office with over 80 employees, supported by a 4,000-square-foot warehouse that maintains on-demand inventory. The company has long-standing partnerships with most major Houston hospitals and maintains on-site offices to oversee ongoing projects. The founders’ commitment to high-quality service and materials helped build the strong reputation Alpha Electric continues to uphold.
In 2024, Jimmie and Bo retired, and Alpha Electric was acquired by Leif Martin and his wife Lisa Martin. Leif and Lisa are committed to honoring the company’s legacy by elevating standards of electrical excellence and cultivating the next generation of skilled, safety-focused electricians. Their vision is to lead the industry through innovation, reliability, and transformative energy solutions for hospitals, homes, and commercial clients.
Leif Martin began his electrical career through the IBEW Apprenticeship Program in Louisiana in 1999. Over more than a decade, he managed electrical, controls, and instrumentation projects before transitioning into controlled environments and calibration, which brought his family to Houston in 2014. Leif has built and upgraded dozens of clean rooms for hospitals and pharmacies across Texas and Louisiana. His work frequently intersected with Alpha Electric’s teams, establishing professional relationships long before acquiring the company. Leif holds certifications including NSF 49, CETA RCCP, and NEBB.
Alpha Electric is affiliated with respected organizations such as the National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA), the Greater Houston Partnership, and the Associated General Contractors of America (AGC). These partnerships strengthen industry knowledge, expand networking opportunities, and support Alpha Electric’s continued growth and leadership.
